Just wrapping up another great week of Charleston, SC interior design. Here are some of the highlights.

It was our delight to celebrate a Charleston, SC Interior Design legend. Jimmy Evans turned 90-something and we couldn’t pass up the chance to take him out for an early bird lunch. MDI considers Jimmy to be one of our greatest assets as he regales us with stories of the good ole days of Charleston interior design. He continues to keep up with clients and his MDI harem. After over 15 years with a desk at MDI, Three cheers to Jimmy and many more years of birthdays and clients.

Tile is one of the most fun parts of new construction and renovation.  We love to see our selections being installed.

Laundry room tile floor design….just because it’s utility doesn’t mean it has to be boring!

Sometimes, companies make mistakes. When installing, MDI is onsite to watch and inspect as furniture comes off the delivery truck. We work to remedy an incidents quickly and effortlessly so that our clients can carry on with their busy lives. Next up is a piece that was just delivered to a Kiawah interior design project.

Inspecting each piece including the operation of doors and drawers are essential to insuring that we delivery high end interior design.

We love our delivery guys! We take great care to protect walls and stairs.

Last but not least…some fabric selections for a client’s living room…we can’t wait to see what fabric ends up where!!!
