We’re so excited to introduce you to Sarah Beth, one of our talented Design Assistants here at MDI! Though she has lived all over the country, something about the Lowcountry has always felt like home. Her sister was born here and her parents met, married, and retired here. So when it came time to make a decision after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, it was an easy decision. Charleston is the place to be! 

With her science background, Sarah Breth brings a unique balance of creativity and strategy to everything she touches here at MDI. She has a natural talent for the precise, logical side of design, but she also loves exploring the endless creative possibilities that this field offers. Her favorite part of the process is defining the palette with fabrics, paint colors, trims, and wallcoverings. 

We love her cozy, feminine designs, and she loves the collaborative, dog-friendly atmosphere here at MDI!

Outside of MDI, you’ll most likely find Sarah Beth out and about exploring Charleston, from shopping and dining to the coastal lifestyle. Some of her go-to spots include oysters at Leon’s, pasta at Melfi’s, and ice cream at Off Track. She’s also always up for a beach or boat day!
