Today we’re wrapping up our ASID award series with another vacation home. We were tasked with designing a home that can host and entertain a crowd.

The kitchen acts as the heart of the home with its impressive hosting capabilities. Gathering in the kitchen is made possible by the swivel chair seating area, banquette, and large island featuring ten barstools. Equipped with three dishwashers, a large pantry, and a separate bar area, this kitchen is truly every host’s dream. The bar space adjoins the living room, dining room, and screened porch for a cohesive flow.

We were given full creative freedom with this home. We decided to pull all of the rooms together by utilizing the deep teal featured in the bar. Globally sourced art, curated accessories, and custom furniture pieces make this a one of a kind home.

This home’s ability to host a crowd is not limited to the daytime. We were able to meet with each of the homeowners’ three adult children to design separate suites tailored to their own aesthetic preferences. The bunk room is a favorite hangout space for the younger crowd. 

The master suite was designed for the homeowners to get away and enjoy their own private space. It includes a seating area, a private screened porch, and an office.

We are honored and humbled to receive four ASID awards this year! We’re looking forward to working with more wonderful clients in the new year.
