Bedroom Interior Design Inspiration
August 9, 2016
If you’re looking for beautiful bedroom interior design inspiration, look no further than our project at The Preserve on Kiawah Island. This home was designed to be livable and functional, and has plenty of bedrooms for family and guests.
One of the interesting things about this home is that all of the bedrooms have their own personality, but architectural details and accessories unite the overall design story.
The master bedroom in this home boasts a two-story bedroom with double-stacked windows. The light and space are glorious, but the space also feels cozy with Roman blinds creating a “ceiling” for the eye. Two raspberry chairs and a lemony bedspread warm up the room, while a black bed frame and accents anchor the lofty space.
We kept the same color scheme in one of the guest rooms with a black bamboo bed frame and cheery yellow and red accents. Notice the bamboo blinds keep the organic theme going throughout the home.
A handcrafted bench of reclaimed wood steals the show in this peaceful guest room. An antique console table to the side gives the room a bit of history, while quilted covers on the nightstand are an unexpected touch.
Things start to get interesting in the fourth bedroom. Ocean blues and chartreuse green lend a whole lot of personality to this room. An incredible arched window and a set of French doors add architectural drama.
At first glance this room seems to be the bold grand finale. However, the zebra ottoman at the foot of the bed gives the room most of its energy. The room could easily be transformed in the future by changing a couple of accessories. (As if you would ever want to change a thing!)
