Charleston Designers, Atlanta Market – Part 2
July 31, 2013
Well, I guess it’s a good sign that it has taken a couple of weeks to get through all of our images. Lots of great new design inspiration has hit our idea boards here at MDI. So…we are just going to inundate you with the goodness. Let’s visit ADAC today. Charleston Designers often travel to ADAC or NYC to see new product.
Cool pendant with interesting glass work contained within. This is from the Baker showroom. We always love popping into Baker and catching up with Catherine Ange. Â The image above is also from Baker. Â It is stained wood and dipped in gold. Charleston Designers are seeing the same wave of hints of modern design that is sweeping the country. Even some of our more traditional clients are enjoying the update as we mix in some less expected pieces.
This Baker bird bath is the epitome of sophisticated and sweet.
This Nouveau Modern stool has high design written all over it. There is a delicateness to its lines while the stained wood and leather seat carry enough weight to allow the stool to stand on its own.
This image is a wonderful illustration of the mix of styles. The chest is a beautifully traditional pieces with antique accents of blue and white pottery. The black and white modern art and sculpture contrast traditional but they all work together as a whole.
Cork isn’t just for wine. Cork is a valuable and sustainable design material. It has been reaching all areas of design for the past several years from flooring to walls to furniture. Here, it is used in a chandelier that was found at the Ainsworth-Noah showroom.
Another stunning chandelier with flower crystals…
These stools and table from the Thomas Pheasant collection can be serious or a bit more light hearted depending upon their setting.
That covers ADAC…tomorrow….the Mart!
