We are brimming with pride about Margaret receiving the prestigious Dora Gray Award at ASID’s 2022 Annual Meeting!

The Dora Gray Award is the highest honor a designer can receive from the Chapter. It not only focuses on high quality of work, but also on the member’s contributions to society and to the Chapter.

This award “will recognize and honor ASID Carolinas designer who had made continuous outstanding contributions toward achieving ASID’s goal of excellence. This Award is based on the designer’s professional achievements demonstrating their creative and innovative concepts, as well as service to their community, and to ASID Carolinas Chapter.”

In order to even be eligible to receive the Dora Gray Award, the member must be widely published or have previously received Design Awards, be active in their community and in the chapter, and demonstrate ASID’s goals of excellence. 

It was a very successful year for MDI, as this distinguished award comes in addition to four Design in Excellence awards for three of our projects. We feel so honored to be recognized for this distinguished award among such talented designers.
