Happy Valentine’s: Sweet decor ideas

February 13, 2015

It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to brainstorm on sweet decor ideas, but it’s still a good time to talk about what you can do with sweetheart colors year round. Here are a few ways we’ve used them that will hopefully inspire you to utilize the loveliness of red, pink, and peach in your design, too.

Pretty-in-pink throw

Everyone needs a little pop of color to liven things up, and we think this sweetheart-pink throw is the perfect shade for this otherwise neutral space. Of course, it’s also a great snuggle accessory.

Seriously sweet shelf

A shelf is just a shelf until you’ve brightened it up with some color, and this shelf is a perfect example of how that can completely change the tone. This shade adds a feminine touch without being overly saccharine.

Adventurous accents

Matching up the hot pink-and-black accent table with zebra print and floral decorative pillows sets an adventurous tone.

In love with ottomans

This fashionable fuchsia ottoman adds even more loveliness to this already vibrant space that perfectly matches the colorful Charleston aesthetic.

Precious pillows

Peachy-pink pillows soften up this bedroom that’s already too-precious-to-be-true with its reclaimed wooden door headboards and antique sewing machine lamp.
