The Most Popular Flooring Trends of 2023 details the ways in which homeowners are beginning to raise their expectations of their flooring. From tile to hardwood to vinyl, flooring is being used to elevate the style and design of the home, while also considering lifestyle needs.

According to Margaret, lighter woods and natural stains are here for the long haul! “Homeowners are primarily using white oak, but walnut is starting to surface more, especially with lighter finishes.” Engineered wood may also be used to create a similar look and feel, without the threat of warping sometimes seen with natural wood in humid coastal climates.
