2nd Place Award – Vacation/ Secondary Home (whole main house)
2nd Place Award – Specialty Furniture Piece (bar)
This oceanfront property on Fripp Island has a sophisticated, coastal elegance. The foyer welcomes guests with stunning views of the ocean down a light filled corridor. A custom glass blown chandelier is the focal point as you enter the second level of the home. The sweeping view was the inspiration for palette. Layered textures and subtle coastal design nods to the location. This home is outfitted for entertaining with its custom bar with hidden features, including a sink and icemaker, along with its many bedrooms for family and friends to stay.
2nd Place Award – Vacation / Secondary Home (whole house)
This Kiawah home was designed to be durable for the large extended family to enjoy with ease and comfort. From distressed woods, stain treatments and the use of indoor/outdoor fabrics, to the focus on function throughout the design, each room captures the essence of practical family living. We know memories will be made year after year throughout this modern classic vacation home.
2nd Place Award – Residence over 3500 sq ft (whole house)
This fun, colorful Kiawah vacation home quickly transitioned to a full-time residence as the owners loved the laid back lifestyle the island provided. Having space for their kids and plenty of visitors was very important for this sociable family. The open-concept living room and kitchen create the perfect space for entertaining, along with the guest rooms each boding unique designs. The gorgeous coastal view can be enjoyed year-round either by the fire or outdoor living area.
