Anna was born in Houston and raised in Savannah, making her a true Southerner. She attended the University of Georgia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.

After graduation she began pursuing a degree in Interior Design from SCAD until she moved to Charleston, a city she has loved visiting for years. “My parents met and got married here and my brother played football at the Citadel so I have been visiting Charleston my whole life,” Anna says. She plans to continue her education at the Art Institute.

Anna’s industry experience, work ethic, and knack for organizing make her the perfect addition to the MDI team as our Design Librarian. “What I love most about the industry is the impact a space can have on individuals in terms of quality of life and how much more it entails than just being visually appealing. Seeing the process start to finish and the implementation of the design process from schematic design to final installation is for sure the most exciting part,” she says.

When Anna isn’t busy supporting the designers around the office, taking a yoga class, painting, or drawing or enjoying time with friends and family. Like most of us at MDI, Anna is also obsessed with dogs.
