Dogs are a big part of our MDI family, and we’ve been happy to welcome Ryan Vaughn’s dog, Dugan to the pack.

Dugan is a rescue who LOVES to be outside. He likes to swim as long as he can touch the bottom, and is always up for a walk downtown where he can sniff all the good smells coming from the restaurants. Ryan says he’s very vocal but doesn’t bark much. Instead he has a giant vocabulary of squeaks, groans, and sighs. Dugan is also a foodie, so he uses every trick he’s got to convince people to give him food, especially his favorites – chicken and cheese. He’s great at catching things in his mouth, and can also shake hands and play tug-of-war.

Dugan moved with Ryan from Indiana. He misses the snow, but loves the beach and his new neighborhood. If Dugan is in the design studio when you visit, you may get a cuddle – he’ll sit right in your lap to get as close as possible.

We’re happy Dugan is adjusting to his new life in Charleston. We’re having a great time getting to know him.
