Just wrapping up another great week of Charleston, SC interior design. Here are some of the highlights.
The anatomy of a project. This is a subject that we haven’t touched on lately. We thought we would roll out some of the projects that were photographed back in the spring. This ocean front Kiawah project is a recent favorite. Our clients were delightful and their desires for the home were right in line with what we wanted to see in the space. With the home’s inverted floor plan, the main living area is three stories up, creating a 180 degree view of the ocean!
Leave it to Kate Spade and the fashion world to bring us yet another brilliant trend…color blocking. With another line of spring fashion upon us, color blocking is proving that it is around for a while.
Have you ever wondered if there is anything special in that beautiful portfolio image? If we could sit you down and talk you through an image, what might we point out? You asked and here we are to deliver.
It was another rewarding year as MDI was recognized at the 2012 ASID Carolinas Excellence in Design Awards. Each project is judged on its own merit and whether it accomplished the goals as described in the submittal. We were proud that our design work on two Kiawah Island homes were awarded as uniquely addressing the needs of our clients.
