Ocean Home magazine has showcased the best designs in luxury coastal living since its founding in 2006. We feel so honored that Ocean Home chose to feature our Kiawah Island Coastal Chic home in the August 2023 issue.

This home was uniquely designed specifically for the family to come together with their three teenage children without distractions. Because we were able to focus on designing for the family and not concerned with accommodating large groups of people, we were really able to cater directly to the family’s needs and aesthetic preferences. 

“The client envisioned a space that was heavily influenced by a Scandinavian design aesthetic with a heavy emphasis on natural materials and light bright tones.” -MDI

We were able to achieve the client’s vision by layering neutral textured materials including wood, concrete, glass, leather, and metal. The result is an open, clean, modern space where the family can gather comfortably and make memories.
