The Met Gala is an annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, and provides celebrities and leaders in the art industries an opportunity to showcase extravagant red-carpet fashion. As designers, we highly anticipate this high-fashion red carpet event every year and the 2024 Met Gala style certainly did not disappoint. This year’s theme was “The Garden of Time,” which is a perfect theme to tie in fashion with some of our favorite interiors!

Regal Purples

Quannah Chasinghorse looks like royalty in this lavender ball gown, much like the luxury vibes we get from this bedroom in our Stay Awhile project.

Classic Black

We’re loving this classic black lace gown on Penelope Cruz! The timelessness of her style reminds us of this Coastal Chic wet bar.

Neutrals and Metallics

We love a simple yet upscale neutral. Jack Harlow’s gray suit with metallic accents is a perfect match to this luxurious Vacation Renovation bathroom.

A Touch of Shimmer

A little glam goes a long way! Hari Nef’s shimmering gown instantly reminded us of this Stay Awhile bedroom bauble chandelier.

Natural Blue Hues

Blue will always naturally be a color of peace and calm. We love how the blue in these Coastal Chic kitchen barstools and in Dasha Zhukova’s red carpet look both represent the serenity of the natural world.

Bold Pink Florals

We love a bold pop of color, especially the pink florals in Karlie Kloss’s dress and the rug in this Waterside Oasis hallway.

Elegant Pink Sparkle

Radhika Jones’s sparkling gown and jewelry perfectly capture feminine glam, much like this Ion Eclectic dining room.

Textured Cream Neutrals

Creams and whites are always safe options when it comes to design. Adding a little texture can elevate the look and create interest, just like Awkwafina’s accessories and the fabric on this Ocean Estate chair.

Clean Black Lines

The black trim on Gigi Hadid‘s gown givesgive a geometric touch to an otherwise simple classic look. The dark mullions and pieces of tile in this Coastal Chic bathroom give the same effect.
