Here we go! Final round of Atlanta finds. Charleston Interior Design is as global as a plane ride or a car trip or the internet for that matter. While we love and cherish our local resources, we strive for an awareness of all that is out there. This philosophy allows us to bring truly the best and most unique selections into the MDI studio and then into our clients’ homes. A lot of what we enjoyed were creative takes on wall decor.
Inspiration
Charleston Designers, Atlanta Markets
Whew! We’re back from Atlanta and our heads are spinning with great new ideas. Did we mention that we also came straight back to a big installation?! Be on the lookout for the new project to appear on the blog soon. MDI doesn’t just go to High Point in the fall and spring; MDI also tries to make to Atlanta every year or so.
Designer Furniture And Lighting Picks
Every once in a while, we like to throw out a few things that have caught our eye lately. Just saying that we sell and specify designer furniture and lighting is one thing but it is much for fun to put photos to those words.
Residential Tile Design: MDI Finds Inspiration In Chicago
Well, hello, Ann Sacks! It is probably safe to say that the Ann Sacks showroom is one of the most fun of all times. For reference, NeoCon is a couple of floors at the Chicago Merchandise Mart. As a result, we were able to take advantage of all of the commercial and residential design showrooms while in Chicago. The images kind of speak for themselves as spectacular examples of residential tile design.
Commercial Design, The Healthy Office
Designing an office where your employees can be productive and stimulated with good opportunities for reprieve…wouldn’t all employers love to maximize these principals. We found some exciting and innovative solutions. Take a look. Do you think this would help increase your productivity? Your state of mind? Your energy at work?
Commercial Design: A Living Wall
You may recall that we mentioned the living wall from our hotel in Chicago. We were truly captured by the feature. The green aesthetic emanates through the space. It encourages people to stop and interact. It divides spaces.
Good Morning, Spring!
Well, hello, Spring! The temperatures still have a little ways to go but MDI has a serious case of spring fever. We want to serve up some lemonade and catch a good sunset. We are easily distracted by the colors, freshness and spring cleaning that comes along with this particular turn of the seasons. Take a look around your house and pick one project for the spring. Big or small. It doesn’t matter! You’ll be thrilled to embrace spring with a little sunshine and newness. To get your wheels turning, here are some of our favorite ideas…
Day 2: An Inspiration for the Season
Today, we’ve got the Osborne and Little Spring Collection including Osborne and Little and Lorca.
An Inspiration for The Season…A Series
Sure, each season brings forth a whole new range of patterns and colors, trims and wallpapers! But all of those beautiful textiles are more than just one company’s passing whim.
Color Blocking and Why We Love It!
Leave it to Kate Spade and the fashion world to bring us yet another brilliant trend…color blocking. With another line of spring fashion upon us, color blocking is proving that it is around for a while.
