We have a unique project to share with you today. Dockside condominiums are one of Charleston’s most iconic properties. Built-in the early 1980s, the units offer incredible views of the harbor, downtown Charleston, and the Ravenel Bridge.

In Charleston, interior design coffee table books are more than just decoration. A beautiful photo book is the perfect companion for a slow afternoon in the bed swing with a pile of pillows and a glass of sweet tea. Inspiring coffee table books are also good places to get inspiration when you want to refresh your interiors just a little.
Today we’re excited to give you a home tour of one of our recent interior design projects in Charleston, South Carolina: A beautiful, refined retreat:
We are happy to tell you that Margaret Donaldson Interiors received four ASID awards last month. These were some of our favorite projects, and we are very honored to be recognized for them.
With a new season comes the urge to refresh interior spaces to match. In winter, we bring warmth to chilly Charleston days with plenty of layers and soft, nubby textiles. In summer, we want summer textiles that are light, bright, fun, and crisp.
You can refresh your space for summer, or for an entire next chapter, with a creative summer textile makeover.
Behind the best interior designers in Charleston are the best dog helpers. At Margaret Donaldson Interiors, we love our dogs (and our clients’ dogs) so much that we have a dog-friendly studio. Please meet Rosie.
It’s no secret that Margaret Donaldson Interiors loves dogs. Did you know that more than half the households in Charleston, SC have at least one dog?
We’ve put the finishing touches on our newly renovated and expanded design studio and we couldn’t be happier. Our studio is our home away from home. It’s where we develop relationships, create, dream, and get inspired. This larger space gives us plenty of room to spread out vision boards, meet with clients, and display one-of-a-kind treasures and favorite accessories.
