Crypton: A New Performance Fabric for Charleston Living
A Charleston home and the next generation of performance fabric is a match made in heaven. You might remember the earlier versions of ultra-durable fabrics: Scratchy, stiff, and not at all nice to touch. However, they were a necessary evil in industrial office spaces, hospitals, and beach rentals. Lucky for us Lowcountry dwellers, things have drastically changed.
Warm Colors are Trending
Crisp, sophisticated whites, grays, and indigos have dominated interior design trends in the last few years. While these combinations never go out of style, warm colors are making their way into Charleston interiors. Driven by the popularity of blush pinks and rose gold, we’re seeing the addition of toasty mustards, deeper shades of rose, terra cotta, rust, and even salmon (a perennial Charleston favorite).

Design Studio Tour: Margaret Donaldson Interiors Expands
We’ve put the finishing touches on our newly renovated and expanded design studio and we couldn’t be happier. Our studio is our home away from home. It’s where we develop relationships, create, dream, and get inspired. This larger space gives us plenty of room to spread out vision boards, meet with clients, and display one-of-a-kind treasures and favorite accessories.
